March in Charleston arrives with the promise of spring, ushering in a season of celebration, culture, and connection. At the heart of the month’s happenings are three marquee events that draw visitors from near and far—the Charleston Wine + Food Festival, an indulgent showcase of the region’s culinary artistry; The Charleston Festival, a month-long tribute to the city’s historic homes, gardens, and cultural heritage; and The Charleston Show, a premier antiques fair bringing together exquisite pieces from around the world.
While these signature gatherings set the stage for an unforgettable month, Charleston’s event calendar offers far more than the grand and the glamorous. Beyond the bustling crowds, you’ll find thoughtfully curated experiences—intimate concerts, literary talks, historical deep dives, and artistic encounters—all inviting you to savor Charleston’s refined spirit in a more personal way. Here’s a look at some of the most noteworthy Charleston Events in March.
